"You are not here merely to make a living. You are here to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world. You impoverish yourself if you forget this errand."

- Woodrow Wilson

Elizabeth J. Agnew, MS, ACC, is committed to helping people live their truth boldly and productively.

Beginning as a volunteer peer counselor at Cornell, Liz has always had a passion for helping people live successful, happy lives. She began her professional career at a highly technical structural engineering consulting firm. After one year there, she founded Vision, Goal, Action. Coaching and after two and a half years, left her day job and is now coaching full time.

Liz’s passion for empowering people to find their truth and live their own life runs deep. As a professional coach, she is able to guide her clients in clarifying their vision who they are and what they want, weeding out external pressures and clearing obstacles to growth. Liz works with engineers who want something more. “Often engineers get to a point when they realize: ‘Is this all there is’? They have been living by a bulleted list of what they thought success was. I help them redefine success on their own terms, in their own right.”

Liz is the vice president of the San Francisco Chapter of the International Coach Federation after serving on the board in 2007 as Communications Director. She has also volunteered for WOMAN, Inc., a multi-cultural, non-profit agency dedicated to breaking the cycle of violence dominating the lives of thousands of women and children in San Francisco. Liz specializes in working with intelligent, ambitious engineers and other left-brained thinkers. Her clients include executives, professionals, community leaders and entrepreneurs.

“Engineers are such smart, creative people with lots of ambition and order in their lives. Problems come when the working world unfortunately limits the opportunities for creativity,” explains Liz. “Due to our training, we tend to think in black and white, right and wrong, left-brained terms. My goal is to help engineers tap into their right-brained intuition in order to clarify their vision and align their life with who they really are. Long term, I show my clients how to maintain a right-brained/left-brained balance.”

Liz’s official qualifications include:

  • • President of the San Francisco chapter of the International Coach Federation
  • • Graduate of Coach U’s Core Essentials Program
  • • Member of the International Coach Federation
  • • Masters of Science from Stanford University
  • • Bachelors of Science from Cornell University
